01The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and BonnieOS ("Bonnie", "we", "us"). They cover the Bonnie Ai website, app and services.
By creating an account or using Bonnie you accept these terms. If you use Bonnie for an organisation, you accept them for that organisation and confirm you're allowed to. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and is part of these terms. If your organisation has signed a separate agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.
02Accounts and workspaces
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once at hello@bonnieos.com if you think it's been misused.
- Workspace admins decide who joins, which products each person can see, and which sources are connected. Admins are responsible for the people they invite.
- You must be at least 16, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.
03The service
Bonnie connects to the tools you choose, reads their data, and answers questions about your business in plain language, with dashboards, schedules and a knowledge base around that.
We keep improving Bonnie, so features may change. Some features may be marked beta or early access: they may change or stop, and these terms apply to them as they are. If we remove something important you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.
04Your data and connected sources
- You own your data. That includes data from your connected sources, files you upload, your messages, and the answers and reports Bonnie produces for you.
- Permission to process it. You give us permission to store, process and send your data to our service providers (including AI model providers, see the Privacy Policy) only as needed to provide, secure and support Bonnie for you.
- Your right to connect. You confirm you're allowed to connect each source and to let Bonnie read its data, and that doing so doesn't break any agreement or law, including privacy laws covering your own users' data.
- Read-only by default. Sources are read-only by default. Any source that can write says so when you connect it. If you ask Bonnie to take an action through such a source (for example post a message), you're responsible for that action.
- Credentials. We encrypt the credentials you give us and use them only to fetch data for you. Give Bonnie the narrowest access your tools allow, ideally read-only keys.
- Leaving. You can export your documents and reports and delete your data while your account is open. After your workspace is closed we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
05AI answers
Bonnie's answers are produced by AI from the data it can reach. They can be incomplete or wrong: a source may be down or out of date, or the model may misread a question. Bonnie names its sources and flags stale data so you can check.
Check important answers before you act on them. Bonnie isn't financial, legal or other professional advice. Numbers shown on our website are illustrative.
06Acceptable use
Don't use Bonnie to:
- break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- connect data you aren't allowed to use, or upload malware or harmful code;
- try to reach another workspace's data, get around limits or security, or probe, scan or overload the service;
- reverse-engineer the service, or resell it without our written agreement;
- build a competing product using Bonnie's answers, prompts or design;
- send spam or harassing content through any connected tool.
We may limit or remove content or access that breaks these rules.
07Third-party services
The tools you connect, sign-in providers and AI model providers are run by other companies under their own terms. We aren't responsible for their services, their availability or changes they make, though we'll tell you inside the answer when a source Bonnie relies on is degraded.
08Plans and payment
Bonnie may offer free and paid plans. Paid plans, their prices and their billing terms will be shown to you, or set out in a quote, before you subscribe. You will never be charged for a plan you haven't agreed to.
We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
09Our property
Bonnie, its software, design and brand belong to us and our licensors. These terms give you the right to use Bonnie while your account is in good standing; they don't transfer ownership. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
10Suspension and ending
- You can stop using Bonnie and close your workspace at any time.
- We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you don't pay, or if we must to protect the service, other customers or the law. Where reasonable we'll warn you first and give you time to export your data.
- Sections that by their nature should continue (such as data ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law) survive the end of this agreement.
11Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Bonnie available, accurate and secure, but to the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI answers, or uninterrupted service.
12Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, even if warned they were possible.
Our total liability under these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or GBP 100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
13Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of data you connected or uploaded without the right to, or because you broke the acceptable-use rules, you'll cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell workspace admins by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Bonnie after that means you accept the new terms.
15Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
